How’s the Riding going on? The main issue while riding is the decision of routes on which we have to ride. So confusing. And we have to explore new places all the time.

Here in this post, I talk about the ride route of Chandigarh to Siswa Dam, Punjab.

To and Fro Distance – 40kms

Travel Time – 2 hours to 2 hours 30ins according to riding speed.

I ride many times from Chandigarh to Siswa Dam, sometimes solo ride. The way is quite highway with no huge traffic on roads and many views where you can’t resist to take pictures.

From Chandigarh, you have to go in front of PGI to Ropar Highway via Mullanpur Barrier.

From there, go straight towards on Highway. After ending of road, you see a T- section, Left to Ropar and Right to Baddi.

Here, you have to take a right and go straight for 5-6 kms, after crossing siswa resort, you see a cut on left side, a unconstructed way. Also a borad of Punjab Forest Department, on that way 100 meters, the Siswa Dam.

The view of Dam and the green mountains at it back have a really awesome view.

After crossing the dam, there is trek of 5-6 kms. You can also go further on that way, if you want to do off-road Ride.
